Question: My daughter is 4 years old; can I enroll her for the classes? 

Answer: Minimum age requirement is 5 years.

 

Question: My daughter is 12 years old and has no prior training in Kathak dance, is it too late to start?

Answer: It’s never too late to learn dance.

 

Question: I am 30+ and have learned Kathak as a child. I would like to learn again, do you have a class for adults?

Answer: We welcome adults to our classes, and encourage them to learn Kathak as a new skill, or refresh their old love.

 

Question: What is the fee structure?

Answer: Each session is 10 weeks long, for this quarter (April ‘05) we are charging $120 for the quarter. Our regular fee for each quarter in $150, early enrollment discount will be given for each quarter. Drop in fee is $18 per class.

 

Question: When do the classes start?

Answer: Mid April 2005.

    

Question: Where are the classes held?

Answer: Currently we have 3 locations, South San Jose( Evergreen), Milpitas, and San Ramon.

    

Question: Can we register online or on the phone?

Answer: Although the registration form is available online, iKathak accepts registration only in person or by check. Please mail the completed registration form along with your registration fee to the following address:

Question: When and how do I enroll for the classes? What do I need to bring with me?

Answer: We have limited space available, so don’t wait till the last minute to enroll. Call to reserve your spot, and mail out the completed registration form 2 weeks in advance.

 

Question: Do you accept part payments?

Answer: Full fee is required at the time of registration.

 

Question: Do you give any refunds for missed class?

Answer: We do not give any refunds once the classes begin. If you miss a class you can attend one of the informal practice sessions and learn the steps for the missed class. We will have one makeup class every month.               

                                   

Question: Do you accept credit cards?

Answer: Payments can only be made in cash or by check.

      

Question: What should I wear to class?

Answer: Salwar kameez is preferred, however it is not compulsory.
